GFCI receptacle is different from conventional receptacles. In the
event of a ground fault, a GFCI will trip and quickly stop the flow of
electricity to prevent serious injury. We can offer a wide variety of
Spec Grade GFCIs to help protect people from electrical shock in homes,
offices, hospitals, schools, Hotels, factories and outdoors.

● Bridge contact provides individual sets of contacts for GFCI receptacle face and downstream receptacles. No power will be delivered to receptacle face if improperly wired (line-load reversed)

Specifications
Self-Test
■ New Version UL943 Standard now requires newly manufactured GFCIs to be auto-monitoring (self-testing) by conducting an internal
test to confirm that protected power is available
■ Provides continuous ground fault protection
■ On initial power up, tests the GFCI within 1 second
■ Self test (Auto-monitoring) exceeds the new version UL requirement
■ Testing every two hours updates the protection status
■ Auto adapts and shifts to more frequent testing if potential problem is detected
End of Life
■ As long as it cannot provide ground fault protection, GFCIs will be replaced (End of Life)
■ Due to a variety of electrical, mechanical, or environmental reasons, Solenoids or SCRs, these two components as critical to the operation of the GFCIs maybe fail. Once occur, it will not be able to trip on a ground fault
■ Required by UL943 and CSA(Canadian Standards Association)
Lockout Protection
Hooanke`s Reset Lockout mechanism will not allow a GFCI receptacle to be reset unless all of the following conditions are met:
■ Connected to power
■ Wired correctly with power coming into line side leads
■ Able to provide ground fault protection
Tamper Resistant
■ Complies with NEC ® requirement, all 15A and 20A receptacles installed in dwelling units should be with tamper-resistant
■ Receptacles with Shutter mechanism block access to the contacts unless the plug is fully inserted
